Mexican branding studio HUMAN created Hombre Cometa, an independent Mezcal 100% Agave Espadín that simbolizes Human connection to space.
The name honors Punta Cometa, the sacred mountain in the region of Mazunte, Oaxaca; where the sea, land and sky meet.
I was invited to create the illustrations that depict the concept of the brand and the bottle labels, traducing the narrative into a couple of abstract portraits that combine the human and mechanical aspects of Hombre Cometa.
